Try Lambic again!
Try Lambic again!

Big menu update already in Lambic. We launched the long-awaited main menu update! The changes affected more than half of the dishes — some of them we rethought anew, others were developed from scratch. Most of the new products in  the "Salads" section, — as many as five! We are sure that a big salad with seafood and ginger sauce, in which the lightness and freshness of vegetables are complemented by crispy greens and notes of ginger, will become a menu hit. The salad with baked beef, oyster mushrooms and cherry potatoes turned out to be large, very bright and will be quite a full meal. Asian novelties — classic appetizer «broken cucumbers with cashew» in the performance of our chef sparkled with new colors thanks to the rich sweet sauce, and crispy eggplants with pink tomatoes and spicy-sweet sauce will be a great starter for lovers of Asian cuisine. Belgian potato waffles — our specialty, the dish for which to come back again and again! We add boiled potatoes to the dough, so the waffles become hearty and acquire a characteristic taste. In the updated menu, we experiment again with flavors, — now we add salmon or bacon directly to the dough, they are baked together and saturated with each other's taste. Serve traditionally — on large plates with an impressive amount of toppings — pastrami and smashed cucumbers, stracciatella, avocado and fresh cucumber, with salmon and caviar sauce. We marked the dishes of the seasonal menu with a special sign, which will be in our menu until December. Their basis — seasonal and not vegetables in interesting cooking techniques. Try quinoa with baked avocado and lemon sauce. Appetizer of  three types of spreads — hummus, baba ganoush and  pumpkin cream with truffle oil, served with crunchy ciabatta, will be a great addition to wine and fruit varieties from our Beer Atlas. Roast de Gendin, hearty and bright, named after the two chefs of our team who came up with it, — Eugene and Denis. There are also more seafood dishes: grilled squid with fried iceberg lettuce will delight you with its lightness and freshness. Salmon steak is now served with Parmesan mousse and Brussels sprouts. Salmon tartare has been updated, it tastes like a spicy Asian sauce. We've carried out a small but important update to the main Lambic menu! The section of Belgian potato waffles has been replenished with a new flavor — with beef jerky bresaola and baked eggplant. Also, due to multiple requests, we returned poke to menu in three variations: with tuna, salmon or mix of two kinds of fish. Back on the menu and thick, rich goulash soup according to traditional Hungarian recipe. Also on the menu: more grill dishes, more appetizers beer for every taste, new sauces for traditional Belgian mussels! We are looking forward to guests, try Lambic again!

In the tasting room of St. Bernardus has since preserved a poster with the inscription Brouwerij Sint Bernardus: alleenvervaardiger van de bieren van de abdij van West-Vleteren ("Sint Bernardus Brewery: the only brewer of St. Sixtus Abbey in Westvleteren"). The agreement came to end with the expiration of the license in 1992 .
